As a school, we know how important it is to actively involve parents and carers in children's learning. We therefore give all the children across the school opportunities to undertake activities at home.
These home tasks cover a wide range of skills and will often involve children and parents undertaking activities together. Tasks might include reading, learning spellings, learning multiplication tables, making models, completing some activities on line, using the internet for research or simply practising skills learnt during the week.
Each week, all parents will receive an e-mail containing their child's homework. In order for this to be successful, please ensure that you provide an up-to-date email address to the school office.
Depending on the age of the child, there may also be other ways in which your child can access thiner homework, e.g. through directly emailing the children or through their "Classes' page on Hwb. Paper copies of homework can still be provided to the children if needed. Please inform your child's class teacher if this is the case.
