Dear God
Thank you for our new King & Queen.
Help us to be kind and caring and helpful.
Thank you for our school and all the people who help us.

Thank you for all the emergency services who help us when we need them.
Help them to be brave so they can rescue and help us.

Thank you for the people who are kind and thoughtful and who help us.
Help us and guide us to be kind to others and God.

Dear Lord,
Thank you for making us different from each other although we are the same inside. Help us to be kind to each other.
Thank you for our families, our pets and all the wild animals in our beautiful world.
Thank you for our schools, teachers and our friends.
Thank you for all our learning especially about odd and even numbers and finding out about the disciples.
We are looking forward to learning about night and day this term especially our pyjamas party.

Thank you for Jesus being born and the Christmas celebrations.
Thank you for the Christmas trees and the decorations.
Help us to think of the children who don’t have any homes, toys, hot dinners or presents at Christmas.
Thank you for Save the Children and Christmas jumper day.
Help us to enjoy the Christmas spirit and the school fair.

Thank you for our friends and family please look after them as we begin Advent.
Every day when we open our advent calendar we pray for the children who don’t have one. Help us to think of others who may not have presents at Christmas.
Help us to learn the words for our songs and to sing beautifully with love in our hearts.

Thank you for all the brave soldiers, police officers, ambulance crew and firefighters who look after us and help us.
Help us to remember them on Sunday with the poppy services.
Thank you for the world which produces our food.
Thank you for the shops where we buy our food and thank you for our adults who make meals for us.

Thank you for school, our friends, our teachers and all the adults who help us in school.
Please look after everyone during the holiday.
Thank you for our families, especially our mums and dads.
Help us to be good and have fun during half term.
Thank you for our world, animals, flowers and food.
We will try to not eat too many sweets on Halloween and we promise to brush our teeth.

Help us to think about people who are going on journeys just like Mary & Joseph.
Help to keep them safe and remember all the people who are not with us anymore.

Help us to always remember to press the button at the pelican crossing.
Thank you to the crossing patrol people who help us cross the road safely.
